பரியாசக்காரன் ஞானத்தைத் தேடியும் கண்டுபிடியான்; புத்தியுள்ளவனுக்கோ அறிவு லேசாய் வரும்.

தேவனைக் கேலிச்செய்பவர்கள் ஞானத்தைத் தேடலாம். ஆனால் அவர்கள் அதனைக் கண்டடையமாட்டார்கள். தேவனை நம்புகிறவர்கள் உண்மையான ஞானமுடையவர்கள். அவர்களுக்கு அறிவு எளிதாக வரும்.

A scorner לֵ֣ץ lûṣ loots
wisdom, חָכְמָ֣ה ḥokmâ hoke-MA
and not: וָאָ֑יִן ʾayin ah-YEEN
but knowledge וְדַ֖עַת daʿat da-AT
unto him that understandeth. לְנָב֣וֹן bîn been
easy נָקָֽל׃ qālal ka-LAHL
