அழிந்துபோகிற போஜனத்திற்காக அல்ல, நித்தியஜீவன்வரைக்கும் நிலைநிற்கிற போஜனத்திற்காகவே கிரியை நடப்பியுங்கள்; அதை மனுஷகுமாரன் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பார்; அவரைப் பிதாவாகிய தேவன் முத்திரித்திருக்கிறார் என்றார்.

அழிந்துபோகிற உணவிற்காக இல்லை, நித்தியஜீவன் வரைக்கும் நிலைநிற்கிற உணவிற்காகவே செயல்களை நடப்பியுங்கள்; அதை மனிதகுமாரன் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பார்; அவரைப் பிதாவாகிய தேவன் நிச்சயத்திருக்கிறார் என்றார்.

பூமியிலுள்ள உணவுகள் கெட்டு அழிந்துபோகும். ஆகையால் அத்தகைய உணவுக்காக நீங்கள் வேலை செய்யவேண்டாம். ஆனால் எப்பொழுதும் நன்மையையும் நித்திய வாழ்வையும் தருகிற உணவுக்காக வேலை செய்யுங்கள். மனித குமாரனே உங்களுக்கு அத்தகைய உணவினைத் தருவார். தேவனாகிய பிதா, தான் மனித குமாரனோடு இருப்பதைக் காட்டிவிட்டார்” என்று இயேசு கூறினார்.
