அப்பொழுது தாவீது: ஆனூனின் தகப்பனாகிய நாகாஸ் எனக்குத் தயவுசெய்ததுபோல, நானும் அவன் குமாரனாகிய இவனுக்குத் தயவுசெய்வேன் என்று சொல்லி, அவன் தகப்பனுக்காக அவனுக்கு ஆறுதல்சொல்ல ஸ்தானாபதிகளை அனுப்பினான்; தாவீதின் ஊழியக்காரர் ஆனூனுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்ல அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் தேசத்திலே வந்தபோது,

பிறகு தாவீது, “நாகாஸ் என்னிடம் அன்பாய் Ԕஇருந்தான், எனவே நான் அவனது மகன் ஆனூனிடம் அன்பாய் இருப்பேன்” என்றான். அதனால் தாவீது தூதுவர்களை ஆனூனுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்ல அனுப்பினான். தாவீதின் தூதுவர்கள் அம்மோன் நாட்டிற்கு ஆனூனுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்லச் சென்றனர்.

மூத்தவள் ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்று, அவனுக்கு மோவாப் என்று பேரிட்டாள்; அவன் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இருக்கிற மோவாபியருக்குத் தகப்பன்.

உபாகமம் 23:3
அம்மோனியனும் மோவாபியனும் கர்த்தருடைய சபைக்கு உட்படலாகாது; பத்தாம் தலைமுறையிலும் என்றைக்கும் அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய சபைக்கு உட்படலாகாது.

அன்றையதினம் ஜனங்கள் கேட்க மோசேயின் புஸ்தகத்தை வாசித்தார்கள்; அதிலே அம்மோனியரும் மோவாபியரும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு அப்பமும் தண்ணீரும் கொடுக்க எதிர்கொண்டுவராமல், அவர்களைச் சபிக்க அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பிலேயாமைக் கூலிபொருந்திக்கொண்டபடியினால்,

எஸ்தர் 6:3
அப்பொழுது ராஜா: இதற்காக மொர்தெகாய்க்கு கனமும் மேன்மையும் செய்யப்பட்டதா என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு ராஜாவைச் சேவிக்கிற ஊழியக்காரர் அவனுக்கு ஒன்றும் செய்யப்படவில்லை என்று சொன்னார்கள்.

பிரசங்கி 9:15
அதிலே ஞானமுள்ள ஒரு ஏழை மனிதன் இருந்தான்; அவன் தன் ஞானத்திலே அந்தப் பட்டணத்தை விடுவித்தான்; ஆனாலும் அந்த ஏழை மனிதனை ஒருவரும் நினைக்கவில்லை.
