எரேமியா 38:3
எரேமியா எல்லா ஜனத்தோடும் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்த வார்த்தைகளை மாத்தானின் குமாரனாகிய செப்பத்தியாவும், செலேமியாவின் குமாரனாகிய யூகாலும், மல்கியாவின் குமாரனாகிய பஸ்கூரும் கேட்டார்கள்.

எரேமியா எல்லா மக்களிடமும் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்த வார்த்தைகளை மாத்தானின் மகனாகிய செப்பத்தியாவும், பஸ்கூரின் மகனாகிய கெதலியாவும், செலேமியாவின் மகனாகிய யூகாலும், மல்கியாவின் மகனாகிய பஸ்கூரும் கேட்டார்கள்.

இதுதான் கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறது: ‘இந்த எருசலேம் நகரமானது பாபிலோன் அரசனின் படையிடம் உறுதியாகக் கொடுக்கப்படும். அவன் இந்நகரத்தைக் கைப்பற்றுவான்.’”

ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: பாபிலோனிய மன்னனது படையிடம் இந்நகர் கையளிக்கப்படுவது உறுதி. அவனும் அதைக் கைப்பற்றிக் கொள்வான்.⒫

city הָעִ֣יר ʿîr eer
This הַזֹּ֗את zōt zote
into the hand בְּיַ֛ד yād yahd
army, חֵ֥יל ḥayil ha-YEEL
of the king מֶֽלֶךְ melek meh-LEK
