மிருகத்தின்முன்பாக அந்த அற்புதங்களைச் செய்யும்படி தனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட சத்துவத்தினாலே பூமியின் குடிகளை மோசம்போக்கி, பட்டயத்தினாலே காயப்பட்டுப் பிழைத்த மிருகத்திற்கு ஒரு சொரூபம் பண்ணவேண்டுமென்று பூமியின் குடிகளுக்குச் சொல்லிற்று.

மிருகத்தின் முன்பாக அந்த அற்புதங்களைச் செய்யும்படி தனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட அடையாளங்களினாலே பூமியின் மக்களை ஏமாற்றி, வாளினாலே காயப்பட்டுப் பிழைத்த மிருகத்திற்கு ஒரு உருவம் உண்டாக்கவேண்டும் என்று பூமியின் மக்களுக்குச் சொன்னது.

அந்த முதல் மிருகத்தின் முன்னிலையில் தனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிற ஆற்றலினால் அற்புதங்களை நிகழ்த்தி, பூமியில் வசிக்கிற மக்களை இம்மிருகம் வஞ்சிக்கிறது. முதல் மிருகத்தை கௌரவிக்க ஒரு விக்கிரகத்தைச் செய்யுமாறு இரண்டாவது மிருகம் மக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டது. வாளால் காயம் அடைந்தாலும் கூட இறக்காத மிருகம் இதுவாகும்.
