செய்யத்தகாத காரியங்களை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாக இரகசியத்தில் செய்ததுமன்றி, காவல்காக்கிற கோபுரங்கள் தொடங்கி அரணான பட்டணங்கள் மட்டுமுள்ள தங்கள் ஊர்களிலெல்லாம் தங்களுக்கு மேடைகளையும் கட்டி,

இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் இரகசியமாக தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு எதிராகக் காரியங்களைச் செய்தனர். அந்தக் காரியங்கள் தவறாயின. இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் தங்களது சிறிய நகரங்கள் முதல் பெரிய கோட்டையமைந்த நகரங்கள் வரை அவர்களின் எல்லா நகரங்களிலும் மேடைகளை பொய்த் தெய்வங்களின் ஆலயங்களைக் கட்டினார்கள்.

and they built וַיִּבְנ֨וּ bānâ ba-NA

them high places בָּמוֹת֙ bāmâ ba-MA
in all בְּכָל kōl kole
