அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 7:11
பின்பு எகிப்து கானான் என்னும் தேசங்களிலெங்கும் பஞ்சமும் மிகுந்த வருத்தமும் உண்டாகி, நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆகாரம் கிடையாமற்போயிற்று.

ஆனால் எகிப்திலும், கானானிலுமிருந்த எல்லா நிலங்களும் வறண்டு போயின. அங்கு உணவு தானியங்கள் வளர முடியாதபடிக்கு நாடு வறட்சியுற்றது. இது மக்களுக்குப் பெரும் துன்பத்தை விளைவித்தது. நமது தந்தையருக்கு உண்பதற்கு எதுவும் அகப்படவில்லை.
