அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் சகல நியமங்களையும் அதின் சகல சட்டங்களையுங்குறித்து நான் உன்னோடே சொல்வதையெல்லாம் நீ உன் மனதிலே கவனித்து, உன் கண்களினாலே பார்த்து உன் காதுகளினாலே கேட்டு, பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தினுடைய எல்லா வாசற்படிகளின் வழியாய் ஆலயத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பதும் அதிலிருந்து புறப்படுவதும் இன்னவிதமென்று நீ ஆலோசித்துப் பார்த்து,

கர்த்தர் என்னிடம் சொன்னார்: “மனுபுத்திரனே, கவனமாகப் பார்! உன் கண்களையும் காதுகளையும் பயன்படுத்து. இவற்றைக் கவனி. நான் உனக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் சகல விதிகளையும் அதன் சகல சட்டங்களையும் பற்றிச் சொல்வதைக் கவனமாகக் கேள். ஆலயத்தின் எல்லா நுழை வாசல்களையும் பரிசுத்த இடத்திலிருந்து வெளியேறும் வாசல்களையும் கவனமாகப் பார்.

ஆண்டவர் என்னிடம் சொன்னது: மானிடா! ஆண்டவரின் கோவிலைப் பற்றி நான் சொல்லும் எல்லா நியமங்களையும் சட்டங்களையும் கவனமாய்க் காதால் உற்றுக்கேட்டு இதயத்தில் பதித்துவை. அவ்வில்லத்தின் எல்லா வாயில்களிலும் நுழைவது பற்றியும் தூயகத்தின் வாயில்களினின்று வெளிச்செல்வது பற்றியும் கவனமாய்க் கேள்.
