அப்பொழுது அதைக் கண்டவர்களெல்லாரும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாள் முதற்கொண்டு இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இதைப்போலொத்தகாரியம் செய்யப்படவும் இல்லை, காணப்படவும் இல்லை; இந்தக் காரியத்தை யோசித்து ஆலோசனைபண்ணி செய்யவேண்டியது இன்னதென்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அதைப் பார்த்தவர்கள் எல்லோரும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாளிலிருந்து இந்த நாள்வரைக்கும் இதைப்போன்ற காரியம் செய்யப்படவும் இல்லை, காணப்படவும் இல்லை; இந்தக் காரியத்தைப்பற்றி யோசித்து, ஆலோசனை செய்து, செய்யவேண்டியது என்னவென்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றார்கள்.

அதைப் பார்த்தவர்கள் எல்லோரும், “இதைப்போன்ற எதுவும் இதுவரைக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலில் நடந்ததில்லை. எகிப்திலிருந்து நாம் வந்த காலத்திலிருந்து இதைப்போன்று எதையும் பார்த்ததில்லை இதை விசாரித்து, என்ன முடிவு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்” என்றனர்.

அதைக் கண்ட அனைவரும், “இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள் எகிப்து நாட்டிலிருந்து, புறப்பட்டதிலிருந்து இந்நாள் வரை இது போன்றது நடந்ததில்லை; இது போன்றதைக் கண்டதுமில்லை; இதைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் சிந்தியுங்கள்; கலந்து பேசுங்கள்; உங்கள் முடிவைத் தெரிவியுங்கள்” என்று சொல்லிக் கொண்டனர்.
