ஆதியாகமம் 9:11
இனி மாம்சமானவைகளெல்லாம் ஜலப்பிரளயத்தினால் சங்கரிக்கப்படுவதில்லையென்றும், பூமியை அழிக்க இனி ஜலப்பிரளயம் உண்டாவதில்லையென்றும், உங்களோடே என் உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்துகிறேன் என்றார்.

ஏசாயா 54:9
இது எனக்கு நோவாவின் காலத்திலுண்டான வெள்ளம்போலிருக்கும்; நோவாவின் காலத்திலுண்டான வெள்ளம் இனி பூமியின்மேல் புரண்டுவருவதில்லை என்று நான் ஆணையிட்டதுபோல, உன்மேல் நான் கோபங்கொள்வதில்லையென்றும், உன்னை நான் கடிந்துகொள்வதில்லையென்றும் ஆணையிட்டேன்.

ஆதியாகமம் 8:21
சுகந்த வாசனையைக் கர்த்தர் முகர்ந்தார். அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் இனி நான் மனுஷன் நிமித்தம் பூமியைச் சபிப்பதில்லை; மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகள் அவன் சிறுவயதுதொடங்கிப் பொல்லாததாயிருகிறது; நான் இப்பொழுது செய்ததுபோல, இனி சகல ஜீவன்களையும் சங்கரிப்பதில்லை.

அப்பொழுது மாம்சஜந்துக்களாகிய பறவைகளும், நாட்டு மிருகங்களும் காட்டு மிருகங்களும் பூமியின்மேல் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் யாவும், எல்லா நரஜீவன்களும், பூமியின்மேல் சஞ்சரிக்கிறவைகள் யாவும் மாண்டன.

இப்பொழுது இருக்கிற வானங்களும் பூமியும் அந்த வார்த்தையினாலேயே அக்கினிக்கு இரையாக வைக்கப்பட்டு, தேவபக்தியில்லாதவர்கள் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்பட்டு அழிந்துபோகும் நாள்வரைக்கும் காக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
