யோனா 1:2
நீ எழுந்து மகா நகரமாகிய நினிவேக்குப் போய், அதற்கு விரோதமாகப் பிரசங்கி; அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமம் என் சமுகத்தில் வந்து எட்டினது என்றார்.

நீ எழுந்து பெரிய நகரமாகிய நினிவேக்குப் போய், அதற்கு எதிராகப் பிரசங்கம் செய்; அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமம் என்னுடைய சந்நிதியில் வந்து எட்டினது என்றார்.

“நினிவே ஒரு பெரிய நகரம். நான் அங்கே மக்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருக்கிற அநேக தீமைகைளப் பற்றி கேள்விப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன். எனவே அந்நகரத்திற்குப் போய் அம்மக்களிடம் அத்தீமைகளை நிறுத்தும்படிச் சொல்” என்றார்.
