துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி நீ அவனை எச்சரித்தும் அவன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பாமற்போனால், அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே சாவான்; நீயோ உன் ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிப்பாய்.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன்னுடைய வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி நீ அவனை எச்சரித்தும், அவன் தன்னுடைய வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பாமற்போனால், அவன் தன்னுடைய அக்கிரமத்திலே மரிப்பான்; நீயோ உன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிப்பாய்.

ஆனால் நீ அந்தப் பாவியைத் தன் வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளும்படியும், பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்தும்படியும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்தும் அவன் பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்த மறுத்துவிட்டால், பின் அவன் மரிப்பான். ஏனென்றால், அவன் பாவம் செய்தவன். ஆனால் நீ உன்னுடைய வாழ்க்கையைக் காப்பாற்றியிருக்கிறாய்.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, and he turn not from his way; he shall die in his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Nevertheless, if כִּֽי kî kee
warn הִזְהַ֨רְתָּ zāhar za-HAHR
the wicked רָשָׁ֤ע rāšāʿ ra-SHA
of his way מִדַּרְכּוֹ֙ derek deh-REK
to turn לָשׁ֣וּב šûb shoov
from מִמֶּ֔נָּה min meen
it; if he do not וְלֹא lōʾ loh
turn שָׁ֖ב šûb shoov
from his way, מִדַּרְכּ֑וֹ derek deh-REK
he ה֚וּא hûʾ hoo
in his iniquity; בַּעֲוֺנ֣וֹ ʿāwōn ah-VONE
shall die יָמ֔וּת mût moot
but thou וְאַתָּ֖ה ʾattâ ah-TA
thy soul. נַפְשְׁךָ֥ nepeš neh-FESH
hast delivered הִצַּֽלְתָּ׃ nāṣal na-TSAHL
