ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைக் கொண்டுவர அவனுக்குச் சக்தியில்லாதிருந்தால், அவன் செய்த குற்றத்தினிமித்தம் இரண்டு காட்டுப்புறாக்களையாவது, இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையாவது, ஒன்றைப் பாவநிவாரண பலியாகவும் மற்றொன்றைச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாகவும், கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவன்.

“ஒருவேளை அவனால் ஆட்டுக் குட்டியைக் கொண்டுவர வசதியில்லாமல் போனால், அவன் கர்த்தருக்கு இரண்டு காட்டுப் புறாக்களையாவது அல்லது இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையாவதுகொண்டு வரவேண்டும். இவை அவன் பாவத்திற்கான குற்றநிவாரண பலியாகும். அவற்றில் ஒன்றை பாவப்பரிகார பலியாகவும் மற்றொன்றை தகன பலியாகவும் படைக்க வேண்டும்.

And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

to bring תַגִּ֣יע nāgaʿ na-ɡA
he יָדוֹ֮ yād yahd
able דֵּ֣י day dai
a lamb, שֶׂה֒ śe seh
then he shall bring וְהֵבִ֨יא bôʾ boh
אֶת ʾēt ate
for his trespass, אֲשָׁמ֜וֹ ʾāšām ah-SHAHM
which אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
he hath committed, חָטָ֗א ḥāṭāʾ ha-TA
two שְׁתֵּ֥י šĕnayim sheh-na-YEEM
turtledoves, תֹרִ֛ים tôr tore
or אֽוֹ ʾô oh
