மரித்த உம்முடையவர்கள் பிரேதமான என்னுடையவர்களோடேகூட எழுந்திருப்பார்கள்; மண்ணிலே தங்கியிருக்கிறவர்களே, விழித்துக் கெம்பீரியுங்கள்; உம்முடைய பனி பூண்டுகளின்மேல் பெய்யும் பனிபோல் இருக்கும்; மரித்தோரைப் பூமி புறப்படப் பண்ணும்.

ஆனால் கர்த்தர் கூறுகிறார், “உம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் மரித்திருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் மீண்டும் வாழ்வார்கள். எங்கள் ஜனங்களின் உடல்களும் மரணத்திலிருந்து எழும். மரித்த ஜனங்கள் மண்ணிலிருந்து எழுந்து மகிழ்வார்கள். உம்முடைய பனி செடிகொடிகளின் மேல் பெய்யும் பனி போல இருக்கும். புதிய நேரம் வந்துகொண்டிருப்பதை இது காட்டும். ஜனங்கள் இப்போது பூமியில் புதைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் பூமியானது மரித்தவர்களை வெளியே அனுப்பும்.”
