இவர்களெல்லாரும் ஏமானின் குமாரராயிருந்தார்கள்; தேவன் ஏமானுக்குப் பதினாலு குமாரரையும் மூன்று குமாரத்திகளையும் கொடுத்தார்.

இவர்கள் அனைவரும் ஏமானின் மகன்கள். ஏமான் தாவீதின் தீர்க்கதரிசி. ஏமானைப் பலப்படுத்துவதாக தேவன் வாக்களித்துள்ளார். எனவே ஏமானுக்கு அதிக மகன்கள். தேவன் அவனுக்கு 14 மகன்களையும் 3 மகள்களையும் கொடுத்தார்.
