அந்தப் பிள்ளையின்மேல் மூன்று தரம் குப்புறவிழுந்து: என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, இந்தப் பிள்ளையின் ஆத்துமா அவனுக்குள் திரும்பிவரப்பண்ணும் என்று கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணினான்.

அவர் அந்தச் சிறுவன்மீது மூன்று முறை குப்புறப்படுத்து ஆண்டவரை நோக்கி, “என் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரே, இந்தச் சிறுவன் மீண்டும் உயிர் பெறச் செய்யும்” என்று மன்றாடினார்.
