அதற்கு ஜனங்கள்: அவனைக் கொல்லுகிறவனுக்கு இன்ன இன்னபடி செய்யப்படும் என்று முன் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளையே அவனுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள்.

அந்நேரத்திலே இஸ்ரவேலர்: வந்து நிற்கிற அந்த மனுஷனைக் கண்டீர்களா, இஸ்ரவேலை நிந்திக்க வந்து நிற்கிறான்; இவனைக் கொல்லுகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனை ராஜா மிகவும் ஐசுவரியவானாக்கி, அவனுக்குத் தம்முடைய குமாரத்தியைத் தந்து, அவன் தகப்பன் வீட்டாருக்கு இஸ்ரவேலிலே சர்வமானியம் கொடுப்பார் என்றார்கள்.
