அவனை விட்டு, வேறொருவனிடத்தில் திரும்பி, அந்தப்பிரகாரமாகவே கேட்டான்; ஜனங்கள் முன்போலவே உத்தரவு சொன்னார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது தாவீது தன்னண்டையிலே நிற்கிறவர்களைப் பார்த்து, இந்தப் பெலிஸ்தனைக் கொன்று இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நேரிட்ட நிந்தையை நீக்குகிறவனுக்கு என்ன செய்யப்படும்; ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய சேனைகளை நிந்திக்கிறதற்கு விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாத இந்த பெலிஸ்தன் எம்மாத்திரம் என்றான்.
