அப்படியே தாவீதும் அவன் மனுஷரும் வழியே நடந்துபோனார்கள்; சீமேயியும் மலையின் பக்கத்திலே அவனுக்கு எதிராக நடந்து தூஷித்து, அவனுக்கு எதிராகக் கற்களை எறிந்து, மண்ணைத் தூற்றிக்கொண்டே வந்தான்.

இவ்வாறு தாவீதும் அவனுடைய ஆட்களும் பாதையில் தொடர்ந்து நடந்துச் சென்றனர். ஆனால் சீமேயி தாவீதைப் பின் தொடர்ந்தான். மலையோரமுள்ள மறுபுறத்துப் பாதையில் சிமேயி நடந்தான். சீமேயி தீயவற்றைச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே நடந்தான். சீமேயி கற்களையும் அழுக்கையுங்கூட தாவீதின் மீது எறிந்தான்.

தாவீதுராஜா பகூரிம்மட்டும் வந்தபோது, இதோ, சவுல் வீட்டு வம்சத்தானாயிருக்கிற கேராவின் குமாரனாகிய சீமேயி என்னும் பேருள்ள ஒரு மனுஷன் அங்கேயிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, தூஷித்துக்கொண்டே நடந்துவந்து,
