அப்பொழுது எஸ்தரின் தாதிமார்களும், அவளுடைய பிரதானிகளும்போய், அதை அவளுக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள்; அதினாலே ராஜாத்தி மிகவும் துக்கப்பட்டு, மொர்தெகாய் உடுத்திருந்த இரட்டை எடுத்துப்போட்டு, அவனை உடுத்துவிக்கிறதற்கு வஸ்திரங்களை அனுப்பினாள்; அவனோ அவைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாதிருந்தான்.
