ஒருநாள் மரங்கள் தம்மை ஆள்வதற்கு ஓர் அரசனைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க முடிவுசெய்தன. மரங்கள் ஒலிவமரத்திடம், ‘எங்களுக்கு நீ அரசனாக இருந்து ஆளுகை செய்’ என்றன.
