ஒருவன் கோடித்துண்டைப் பழைய வஸ்திரத்தோடே இணைக்கமாட்டான் இணைத்தால், அதினோடே இணைத்த துண்டு வஸ்திரத்தைக் கிழிக்கும், பீறலும் அதிகமாகும்.

“ஒருவன் தன் பழைய சட்டையிலுள்ள ஒரு ஓட்டையை தைக்கும்பொழுது, சுருக்கமடையாத புதிய துணியைப் பயன்படுத்துவதில்லை. அப்படிச் செய்தால், இணைத்த துண்டுத்துணியானது சுருங்கி சட்டையிலிருந்து கிழிந்துவிடும். அதனால் ஓட்டை மேலும் மோசமடையும்.

மேலும், எவரும் பழைய ஆடையில் புதிய துணியை ஒட்டுப் போடுவதில்லை. ஏனெனில், அந்த ஒட்டு ஆடையைக் கிழித்துவிடும்; கிழிசலும் பெரிதாகும்.
