மேலும் சிப்போரின் குமாரனாகிய பாலாக் என்னும் மோவாபின் ராஜாவைப் பார்க்கிலும் உமக்கு அதிக நியாயம் உண்டோ? அவன் இஸ்ரவேலோடே எப்போதாகிலும் வழக்காடினானா? எப்போதாகிலும் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம் பண்ணினானா?

கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவர்களுக்குக் கானானியரை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்களையும் அவர்கள் பட்டணங்களையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணி, அவ்விடத்திற்கு ஓர்மா என்று பேரிட்டார்கள்.
