ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தினாலே சொல்லும் காரியம் நடவாமலும் நிறைவேறாமலும் போனால், அது கர்த்தர் சொல்லாத வார்த்தை; அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசி அதைத் துணிகரத்தினால் சொன்னான்; அவனுக்கு நீ பயப்படவேண்டாம்.

ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தினால் சொல்லும் காரியம் நடக்காமலும் செயல்படாமலும் போனால், அது கர்த்தர் சொல்லாத வார்த்தை; அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசி அதைத் துணிகரத்தினால் சொன்னான்; அவனுக்கு நீ பயப்படவேண்டாம்.

கர்த்தருக்காக நான் பேசுகிறேன், என்று கூறும் தீர்க்கதரிசியின் வார்த்தைகள் நடக்காமல் போனால், பின் நீங்கள் கர்த்தர் இவற்றை கூறவில்லையென்று அறிந்துகொள்ளலாம். அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசி பேசியது, அவனது சொந்தக் கருத்துக்களே என்று நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொண்டால், நீங்கள் அவனைப் பார்த்துப் பயப்படத் தேவையில்லை.
