மேஜையின்மேல் நித்தமும் என் சந்நிதியில் சமுகத்தப்பங்களை வைக்கக்கடவாய்.

என் பரிசுத்த நாளாகிய ஓய்வு நாளிலே உனக்குப் பிரியமானதைச் செய்யாதபடி, உன் காலை விலக்கி, உன் வழிகளின்படி நடவாமலும், உனக்கு பிரியமானதைச் செய்யாமலும், உன் சொந்தப்பேச்சைப் பேசாமலிருந்து, ஓய்வு நாளை மனமகிழ்ச்சியின் நாளென்றும், கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்த நாளை மகிமையுள்ள நாளென்றும் சொல்லி, அதை மகிமையாக கருதுவாயானால்,

ஓய்வுநாளில் தேவனுடைய சட்டத்திற்கு எதிராகப் பாவம் செய்வதை எப்பொழுது நீ நிறுத்துகிறாயோ அப்போது இது நிகழும். அந்தச் சிறப்பு நாளில் உன்னை நீயே திருப்திபடுத்திக்கொள்ளும் செயல்கள் செய்வதை எப்பொழுது நிறுத்துவாயோ, அப்போது இது நடக்கும். ஓய்வுநாளை மகிழ்ச்சியான நாள் என்றும் நீ எண்ணவேண்டும். கர்த்தருடைய சிறப்பான நாளை நீ மகிமைப்படுத்த வேண்டும். மற்ற நாட்களில் நீ சொல்வதையும், செய்வதையும் அந்தச் சிறப்புநாளில் செய்யாமல் நீ அதனை மகிமைப்படுத்தவேண்டும்.

இணை வசனம்

மேஜையையும், அதின் எல்லாப் பணிமுட்டுகளையும், சமுகத்தப்பங்களையும்,

மேஜையையும், அதின் தண்டுகளையும், அதின் சகல பணிமுட்டுகளையும், சமுகத்தப்பங்களையும்,

அன்றியும் நீ மெல்லிய மாவை எடுத்து, அதைப் பன்னிரண்டு அப்பங்களாகச் சுடுவாயாக; ஒவ்வொரு அப்பம் மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டுபங்கு மாவினால் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

சமுகத்தப்ப மேஜையின்மேல் நீலத் துப்பட்டியை விரித்து, தட்டுகளையும் தூபக்கரண்டிகளையும் கிண்ணங்களையும் மூடுகிற தட்டுகளையும் அதின்மேல் வைப்பார்களாக; நித்திய அப்பமும் அதின்மேல் இருக்கக்கடவது.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்ட சமுகத்தப்பங்களைத்தவிர, வேறே அப்பம் அங்கே இராதபடியினால் ஆசாரியன் அவனுக்குப் பரிசுத்த அப்பத்தைக் கொடுத்தான்; அவைகள் எடுக்கப்படுகிற நாளிலே அதற்குப் பதிலாகச் சூடான அப்பம் வைக்கப்படும்.

அவர்கள் சகோதரராகிய கோகாத்தியரின் புத்திரரில் சிலருக்கு ஓய்வுநாள் தோறும் அப்பங்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தும் விசாரிப்பு இருந்தது.

சமுகத்தப்பங்களையும், போஜனபலிக்கு மெல்லிய மாவையும், புளிப்பில்லாத அதிரசங்களையும், சட்டிகளிலே செய்கிறதையும் சுடுகிறதையும், திட்டமான சகல நிறையையும் அளவையும் விசாரிப்பதும்,

அவர்கள் தினந்தோறும் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் சுகந்தவாசனையான தூபத்தையும் செலுத்தி, காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் பரிசுத்தமான மேஜையின்மேல் சமுகத்தப்பங்களை அடுக்கிவைக்கிறதையும், பொன் குத்துவிளக்கையும் அதின் விளக்குகளைச் சாயங்காலந்தோறும் ஏற்றுகிறதையும் விசாரிக்கிறார்கள்; நாங்கள் எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் காவலைக் காக்கிறோம்; நீங்களோ அவரை விட்டு விலகினீர்கள்.

என் பீடத்தின்மேல் அசுத்தமான அப்பத்தைப் படைக்கிறதினாலேயே; ஆனாலும் உம்மை எதினாலே அசுத்தப்படுதினோம் என்கிறீர்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய பந்தி எண்ணமற்றுப்போயிற்றென்று, நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிறதினாலேயே.

நீங்களோ கர்த்தருடைய பந்தி அசுத்தமானது என்றும் அதின் ஆகாரமாகிய அதின் பலன் அற்பமானது என்றும் சொல்லுகிறதினாலே, என் நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குகிறீர்கள்.

அவன் தேவனுடைய வீட்டில் பிரவேசித்து, ஆசாரியர் தவிர வேறொருவரும் புசிக்கத்தகாத தேவசமுகத்து அப்பங்களைத் தானும் தன்னோடிருந்தவர்களும் புசித்தார்களே.
