அவர்கள் தம்புரையும் சுரமண்டலத்தையும் எடுத்துப் பாடி, கின்னரத்தின் ஓசைக்குச் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறார்கள்.

அவன் சகோதரனுடைய பேர் யூபால்; அவன் கின்னரக்காரர் நாகசுரக்காரர் யாவருக்கும் தகப்பனானான்.

அவர்கள் சுரமண்டலத்தையும், தம்புருவையும், மேளத்தையும், நாகசுரத்தையும், மதுபானத்தையும் வைத்து விருந்துகொண்டாடுகிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் கர்த்தரின் கிரியையை நோக்குகிறதுமில்லை; அவர் கரத்தின் செய்கையைச் சிந்திக்கிறதுமில்லை.

தந்தக் கட்டில்களில் படுத்துக்கொண்டு, தங்கள் மஞ்சங்களின்மேல் சவுக்கியமாய்ச் சயனித்து, மந்தையிலுள்ள ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும், மாட்டுத்தொழுவத்திலுள்ள கன்றுக்குட்டிகளையும் தின்று,

நீ ஓடிப்போவதை மறைத்து, எனக்கு அறிவியாமல், திருட்டளவாய் என்னிடத்திலிருந்து வந்துவிட்டது என்ன? நான் உன்னைச் சந்தோஷமாய், சங்கீதம் மேளதாளம் கின்னரமுழக்கத்துடனே அனுப்புவேனே.

நீங்களோ, சந்தோஷித்துக்களித்து, ஆடுமாடுகளை அடித்து, இறைச்சியைச் சாப்பிட்டு, திராட்சரசத்தைக் குடித்து: புசிப்போம் குடிப்போம், நாளைக்குச் சாவோம் என்று சொல்வீர்கள்.
