இணை வசனம்

அப்பா பிதாவே, எல்லாம் உம்மாலே கூடும்; இந்தப் பாத்திரத்தை என்னிலிருந்து எடுத்துப்போடும், ஆகிலும் என் சித்தத்தின்படியல்ல, உம்முடைய சித்தத்தின்படியே ஆகக்கடவது என்றார்.

அவர் மறுபடியும் போய், அந்த வார்த்தைகளையே சொல்லி ஜெபம்பண்ணினார்.

அப்பொழுது, இயேசு அவர்களோடே கெத்செமனே என்னப்பட்ட இடத்திற்கு வந்து, சீஷர்களை நோக்கி: நான் அங்கே போய் ஜெபம்பண்ணுமளவும் நீங்கள் இங்கே உட்கார்ந்திருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி;

பாதாளக்கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டது; மரணக்கண்ணிகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது.

என் தேவனே, என் தேவனே, ஏன் என்னைக் கைவிட்டீர்? எனக்கு உதவி செய்யாமலும், நான் கதறிச் சொல்லும் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளாமலும் ஏன் தூரமாயிருக்கிறீர்?

என் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, இரவும் பகலும் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்.

என் சிநேகத்துக்குப் பதிலாக என்னை விரோதிக்கிறார்கள், நானோ ஜெபம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.
