அவருடைய நியாயங்களையெல்லாம் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன்; அவருடைய பிரமாணங்களை நான் தள்ளிப்போடவில்லை.

மெய்வழியை நான் தெரிந்துகொண்டு உம்முடைய நியாயங்களை எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன்.

உம்முடைய வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையெல்லாம் என் உதடுகளால் விவரித்திருக்கிறேன்.

முடிவுபரியந்தம் இடைவிடாமல் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களின்படி செய்ய என் இருதயத்தைச் சாய்த்தேன்.

என்னை ஆதரித்தருளும்; அப்பொழுது நான் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு எக்காலமும் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களின்பேரில் நோக்கமாயிருப்பேன்.

எல்லாவற்றைப்பற்றியும் நீர் அருளின எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளும் செம்மையென்று எண்ணி, சகல பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன்.

அதற்குப்பின்பு இயேசு அவனை தேவாலயத்திலே கண்டு: இதோ, நீ சொஸ்தமானாய், அதிக கேடானதொன்றும் உனக்கு வராதபடி இனிப் பாவஞ்செய்யாதே என்றார்.
