அவர்கள் யூதாவில் வந்து, பலாத்காரமாய்ப் புகுந்து, ராஜாவின் அரமனையில் அகப்பட்ட எல்லாப் பொருள்களையும், அவன் பிள்ளைகளையும், அவன் மனைவிகளையும் பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; யோவாகாஸ் என்னும் அவன் குமாரரில் இளையவனை அல்லாமல் ஒரு குமாரனும் அவனுக்கு மீதியாக வைக்கப்படவில்லை.

எருசலேமின் குடிகள், அவன் இளையகுமாரனாகிய அகசியாவை அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள்; அரபியரோடே கூடவந்து பாளயமிறங்கினதை தண்டிலிருந்தவர்கள் மூத்தகுமாரரையெல்லாம் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்; இவ்விதமாய் அகசியா என்னும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரன் அரசாண்டான்.
