சாலொமோன்: கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டி வந்த ஸ்தலங்கள் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆதலால், இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய தாவீதின் அரமனையிலே என் மனைவி வாசம்பண்ணலாகாது என்று சொல்லி, பார்வோனின் குமாரத்தியைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து தான் அவளுக்குக் கட்டின மாளிகைக்குக் குடிவரப்பண்ணினான்.

சாலொமோன் பார்வோனின் மகளை தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து அழைத்துவந்து, அவளுக்காகக் கட்டியிருந்த மாளிகையில் குடிவைத்தான். சாலொமோன், “என் மனைவி தாவீதின் வீட்டிலே இருக்கக் கூடாது. ஏனென்றால் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டி இருந்ததால் அவ்விடங்கள் பரிசுத்தமானவை” என்றான்.

சாலொமோன் எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனோடே சம்பந்தங்கலந்து, பார்வோனின் குமாரத்தியை விவாகம்பண்ணி, தன்னுடைய அரமனையையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தையும் எருசலேமின் சுற்றுமதிலையும் கட்டித் தீருமட்டும் அவன் அவளைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து வைத்தான்.

அவன் வாசம்பண்ணும் அவனுடைய அரமனை மண்டபத்திற்குள்ளே அதேமாதிரியாகச் செய்யப்பட்ட வேறொரு மண்டபமும் இருந்தது. சாலொமோன் விவாகம்பண்ணின பார்வோனின் குமாரத்திக்கும் அந்த மண்டபத்தைப்போல ஒரு மாளிகையைக் கட்டுவித்தான்.
