அப்பொழுது மோசே தன் மனைவியையும் தன் பிள்ளைகளையும் கழுதையின் மேல் ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு, எகிப்து தேசத்துக்குத் திரும்பினான்; தேவனுடைய கோலையும் மோசே தன் கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோனான்.

Exodus 17:9
அப்பொழுது மோசே யோசுவாவை நோக்கி: நீ நமக்காக மனிதரைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, புறப்பட்டு, அமலேக்கோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணு; நாளைக்கு நான் மலையுச்சியில் தேவனுடைய கோலை என் கையில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு நிற்பேன் என்றான்.
Numbers 20:8
நீ கோலை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, நீயும் உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனும் சபையாரைக் கூடிவரச்செய்து, அவர்கள் கண்களுக்குமுன்னே கன்மலையைப் பார்த்துப் பேசுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது அது தன்னிடத்திலுள்ள தண்ணீரைக் கொடுக்கும்; இப்படி நீ அவர்களுக்குக் கன்மலையிலிருந்து தண்ணீர் புறப்படப்பண்ணி, சபையாருக்கும் அவர்கள் மிருகங்களுக்கும் குடிக்கக் கொடுப்பாய் என்றார்.
Exodus 4:17
இந்தக் கோலையும் உன் கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோ, இதனால் நீ அடையாளங்களைச் செய்வாய் என்றார்.

கர்த்தர் அவனை நோக்கி: உன் கையில் இருக்கிறது என்ன என்றார். ஒரு கோல் என்றான்.
Exodus 18:3
அவளுடைய இரண்டு குமாரரையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு பிரயாணப்பட்டான். நான் அந்நிய தேசத்திலே பரதேசியானேன் என்று மோசே சொல்லி, ஒரு மகனுக்குக் கெர்சோம் என்று பேரிட்டிருந்தான்.
Numbers 20:11
தன் கையை ஓங்கி, கன்மலையைத் தன் கோலினால் இரண்டுதரம் அடித்தான்; உடனே தண்ணீர் ஏராளமாய்ப் புறப்பட்டது, சபையார் குடித்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் மிருகங்களும் குடித்தது.
