அவனோடேகூட எகிப்திலிருந்து வந்த லுூபியர், சூக்கியர், எத்தியோப்பியரான ஜனங்கள் எண்ணிக்கைக்கு அடங்காதவர்களாயிருந்தார்கள்.

எத்தியோப்பியாவும் எகிப்தும் எண்ணிறந்த சேனையால் அதற்குப் பெலனாக இருந்தது; பூத்தும் லுூபீமும் அதற்குச் சகாயமாயிருந்தது.

அப்பொழுது உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரராகிய இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து, பணிந்து, நீயும் உன்னைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்கள் யாவரும் புறப்பட்டுப்போங்கள் என்று சொல்லுவார்கள்; அதின் பின் புறப்படுவேன் என்று சொல்லி, உக்கிரமான கோபத்தோடே பார்வோனைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டான்.

அப்பொழுது பாராக்: செபுலோன் மனுஷரையும் நப்தலி மனுஷரையும் கேதேசுக்கு வரவழைத்து, தன்னைப் பின்செல்லும் பதினாயிரம் பேரோடே போனான்; தெபொராளும் அவனோடேகூடப் போனாள்.

குதிரைகளே, போய் ஏறுங்கள்; இரதங்களே, கடகட என்று ஓடுங்கள்; பராக்கிரமசாலிகளும், கேடகம் பிடிக்கிற எத்தியோப்பியரும், பூத்தியரும், வில்லைபிடித்து நாணேற்றுகிற லீதியரும் புறப்படக்கடவர்கள்.

பட்டயம் எகிப்திலே வரும்; எகிப்திலே கொலையுண்கிறவர்கள் விழும்போது எத்தியோப்பியாவிலே மகா வேதனை உண்டாயிருக்கும்; அதின் ஏராளமான ஜனத்தைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோவார்கள்; அதின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் நிர்மூலமாக்கப்படும்.

அவர்களோடேகூட பெர்சியரும், எத்தியோப்பியரும், லீபியரும் இருப்பார்கள்; அவர்களெல்லாரும் கேடகம்பிடித்து, தலைச்சீராவுந் தரித்திருப்பவர்கள்.
