ரூத் 3:7
போவாஸ் புசித்துக் குடித்து, மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருந்து, ஒரு அம்பாரத்து அடியிலே வந்து படுத்துக்கொண்டான். அப்பொழுது அவள்: மெள்ளப்போய், அவன் கால்களின்மேல் மூடியிருக்கிற போர்வையை ஒதுக்கிப் படுத்துக்கொண்டாள்.

போவாஸ் சாப்பிட்டுக் குடித்து, மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்து, ஒரு அம்பாரத்தின் அடியிலே வந்து படுத்துக்கொண்டான். அப்பொழுது அவள்: மெதுவாகச்சென்று, அவனுடைய கால்களின்மேல் மூடியிருக்கிற போர்வையை விலக்கிப் படுத்துக்கொண்டாள்.

உணவை உண்டு, குடித்தபின் போவாஸ் மிகவும் மனநிறைவோடு இருந்தான். அவன் ஒரு தானிய அம்பாரத்துக்கு அடியிலே படுத்துக்கொண்டான். பிறகு ரூத் அமைதியாக அவன் அருகிலே சென்று காலருகே போர்வையை விலக்கிவிட்டு படுத்துக்கொண்டாள்.
