ஆகாஸ் தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின்பு, அவனை எருசலேம் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் கல்லறைகளில் அவனைக் கொண்டுவந்து வைக்கவில்லை; அவன் குமாரனாகிய எசேக்கியா அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
