வருஷாவருஷம் அவரவர் தங்கள் காணிக்கையாகிய வெள்ளிப்பாத்திரங்களையும், பொற்பாத்திரங்களையும், வஸ்திரங்களையும், ஆயுதங்களையும், சுகந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், குதிரைகளையும், கோவேறுகழுதைகளையும் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.

கேருபீன்களின் நடுவே வாசம்செய்கிற கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுடைய நாமம் தொழுதுகொள்ளப்படுகிற அவருடைய பெட்டியை யூதாவிலிருக்கிற கீரியாத்யாரீமிலுள்ள பாலாவிலிருந்து கொண்டுவரும்படி, அவனும் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் அனைவரும் அந்த இடத்திற்குப் போனார்கள்.

தாவீதும் அவனோடு இருந்த மற்ற இஸ்ரவேலர்களும் யூதாவிலுள்ள பாலாவிற்குச் சென்றனர். (பாலா என்பது கீரியாத்யாரீமின் இன்னொரு பெயர்) உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை எடுத்துவர அவர்கள் அங்கே போனார்கள். உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டி என்பது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டி. அவர் கேருபீன்களுக்கு மேலே அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார். இப்பெட்டி கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தாலேயே அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubim, whose name is called on it.

கேருபீன்களின் நடுவே வாசம்பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுடைய நாமம் தொழுதுகொள்ளப்படுகிற அவருடைய பெட்டியை யூதாவிலிருக்கிற கீரியாத்யாரீமுக்கடுத்த பாலாவிலிருந்து கொண்டுவரும்படிக்கு, அவனும் இஸ்ரவேலர் அனைவரும் அவ்விடத்திற்குப்போனார்கள்.
