அவர்களுடைய நிர்வாணத்தை மூடும்படிக்கு, இடுப்புத்தொடங்கி முழங்கால்மட்டும் உடுத்த சணல்நூல் சல்லடங்களையும் உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

கர்த்தர் எகிப்தியர்களில் செய்த அந்த மகத்தான செயல்களை இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் கண்டார்கள்; அப்பொழுது மக்கள் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, கர்த்தரிடத்திலும் அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசேயினிடத்திலும் நம்பிக்கை வைத்தார்கள்.

ஆசாரியன் தன் சணல்நூல் அங்கியைத் தரித்து, தன் சணல்நூல் ஜல்லடத்தை அரையில் போட்டுக்கொண்டு, பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் அக்கினியில் எரிந்த சர்வாங்க தகனபலியின் சாம்பலை எடுத்து, பலிபீடத்துப் பக்கத்தில் கொட்டி,

அவன் பரிசுத்தமான சணல்நூல் சட்டையைத் தரித்து, தன் அரைக்குச் சணல்நூல் ஜல்லடத்தைப்போட்டு, சணல்நூல் பாகையைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவைகள் பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்கள்; அவன் ஜலத்திலே ஸ்நானம்பண்ணி, அவைகளைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டு,

அவர்களுடைய தலைகளில் சணல்நூல் குல்லாக்களையும், அவர்களுடைய இடைகளில் சணல்நூல் சல்லடங்களையும் தரிக்கவேண்டும்; வேர்வையுண்டாக்கத்தக்கதொன்றையும் அரையில் கட்டலாகாது.

மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலால் பாகையையும், அலங்காரமான குல்லாக்களையும், திரித்த மெல்லிய சணல்நூலால் சல்லடங்களையும்,

என் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் உன் நிர்வாணம் காணப்படாதபடிக்கு, படிகளால் அதின்மேல் ஏறவும் வேண்டாம்.

நான்: நீ ஐசுவரியவானாகும்படிக்கு நெருப்பிலே புடமிடப்பட்ட பொன்னையும், உன் நிர்வாணமாகிய அவலட்சணம் தோன்றாதபடிக்கு நீ உடுத்திக்கொள்வதற்கு வெண்வஸ்திரங்களையும் என்னிடத்திலே வாங்கிக்கொள்ளவும், நீ பார்வையடையும்படிக்கு உன் கண்களுக்குக் கலிக்கம்போடவும் வேண்டுமென்று உனக்கு ஆலோசனை சொல்லுகிறேன்.
