அதற்கு அவன்: நாங்கள் யூதாவிலுள்ள ஊராகிய பெத்லெகேமிலிருந்து வந்து, எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசத்தின் புறங்கள்மட்டும் போகிறோம்; நான் அவ்விடத்தான்; யூதாவிலுள்ள பெத்லெகேம் மட்டும் போய்வந்தேன், நான் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்குப் போகிறேன்; இங்கே என்னை வீட்டிலே ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார் ஒருவரும் இல்லை.

அதற்கு அவன்: நாங்கள் யூதாவிலுள்ள ஊராகிய பெத்லெகேமிலிருந்து வந்து, எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசத்தின் மிகவும் தொலைதூரம்வரைப் போகிறோம்; நான் அந்த இடத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவன்; யூதாவிலுள்ள பெத்லெகேம்வரைப் போய்வந்தேன், நான் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போகிறேன்; இங்கே என்னை வீட்டிலே ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவர்கள் ஒருவரும் இல்லை.

லேவியன், “நாங்கள் யூதாவிலுள்ள பெத்லெகேம் நகரிலிருந்து பயணம் செய்கிறோம். நாங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய கூடாரத்துக்குப் போகிறோம். நான் எப்பிராயீம் மலை நாட்டில் தொலைவான இடத்தில் வாழ்கிறவன். நான் யூதாவிலுள்ள பெத்லெகேமிற்குப் போயிருந்தேன். இப்போது என் வீட்டிற்குப் போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.
