பூமியிலே பாவங்களை மன்னிக்க மனுஷகுமாரனுக்கு அதிகாரம் உண்டென்பதை நீங்கள் அறியவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி, திமிர்வாதக்காரனை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்து உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன் வீட்டுக்குப் போ என்றார்.

பூமியிலே பாவங்களை மன்னிக்க மனிதகுமாரனுக்கு அதிகாரம் உண்டு என்பதை நீங்கள் அறியவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி, பக்கவாதக்காரனைப் பார்த்து: நீ எழுந்து, உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன் வீட்டிற்குப் போ என்றார்.

ஆனால் மனித குமாரனுக்கு பூமியில் பாவங்களை மன்னிக்கும் வல்லமை இருப்பதை நான் உங்களுக்கு நிரூபிப்பேன்” என்று சொன்னார். பிறகு அந்த வியாதிக்காரனிடம் இயேசு “எழுந்திரு, உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு வீட்டிற்குச் செல்!” என்று கூறினார்.
