அவள் தன்னோடேகூட வர மன உறுதியாயிருக்கிறதைக் கண்டு, அப்புறம் அதைக்குறித்து அவளோடே ஒன்றும் பேசவில்லை.

லாயீஸில் வாழ்ந்த ஜனங்களைக் காப்பாற்றுவதற்கு யாரும் இருக்கவில்லை. சீதோன் நகரில் அவர்களுக்கு உதவும் ஜனங்கள் இருந்தனர். ஆனால் அந்நகரத்திலிருந்து வெகு தொலைவில் அவர்கள் வசித்தார்கள். லாயீசின் ஜனங்கள் ஆராமியரோடு எந்த ஒப்பந்தமும் செய்திருக்கவில்லை. எனவே அவர்கள் எந்த உதவியும் செய்யவில்லை. பேத்ரே கோபிற்குச் சொந்தமான ஒரு பள்ளத்தாக்கில் லாயீஸ் நகரம் இருந்தது. அந்த இடத்தில் தாணின் ஜனங்கள் ஒரு புதிய நகரத்தைக் கட்டினார்கள். அந்நகரம் அவர்கள் இருப்பிடமாயிற்று.
