ஈராம் தனக்குச் சாலொமோன் கொடுத்த பட்டணங்களைப் பார்க்கிறதற்குத் தீருவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவந்தான்; அவைகளில் அவன் பிரியப்படவில்லை.

நூறுபேருக்கு அதிபதிகளையும், பெரியவர்களையும், மக்களை ஆளுகிறவர்களையும், தேசத்தின் அனைத்து மக்களையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, ராஜாவைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து இறங்கச்செய்து, உயர்ந்த வாசல்வழியாக ராஜ அரண்மனைக்குள் அழைத்து வந்து அரசாளும் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் ராஜாவை உட்காரச்செய்தார்கள்.

யோய்தா படைத்தளபதிகளையும், பெரியவர்களையும், ஆட்சியாளர்களையும், அந்த நாட்டில் வசித்த அனைவரையும் ஒன்றாய்த் திரட்டினான். பிறகு கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து அரசனை வெளியே அழைத்து வந்து உயர்ந்த வாசல்வழியாக அரண்மனைக்கு அழைத்துச்சென்றான். அங்கே அவனைச் சிங்காசனத்தின் மேல் அமரவைத்தனர்.
