தேவனுக்கேற்ற துக்கம் பின்பு மனஸ்தாபப்படுகிறதற்கு இடமில்லாமல் இரட்சிப்புக்கேதுவான மனந்திரும்புதலை உண்டாக்குகிறது; லெளகிக துக்கமோ மரணத்தை உண்டாக்குகிறது.

தேவனுடைய விருப்பப்படி நேரும் வருத்தம் ஒருவனது இதயத்தை மாற்றி, வாழ்வையும் மாற்றுகிறது. அவனுக்கு இரட்சிப்பையும் தருகிறது. அதற்காக வருத்தப்படவேண்டாம். ஆனால் உலகரீதியிலான துயரங்களோ மரணத்தை வரவழைக்கின்றது.
