ஆகையால், கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டதும், பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிறதுமான தேசமாகிய கானானியர், ஏத்தியர், எமோரியர், ஏவியர், எபூசியர் என்பவர்களுடைய தேசத்துக்கு உன்னை வரப்பண்ணும் காலத்தில், நீ இந்த மாதத்திலே இந்த ஆராதனையைச் செய்வாயாக.

கர்த்தர் உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு ஒரு விசேஷமான வாக்குறுதியை அளித்தார். கானானியர், ஏத்தியர், எமோரியர், ஏவியர், எபூசியர் ஜனங்களின் நாட்டை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பதாகக் கர்த்தர் வாக்களித்தார். நல்ல பொருட்களால் நிரப்பப்பட்ட நாட்டிற்குக் கர்த்தர் உங்களை வழிநடத்திய பிறகும் நீங்கள் இந்த நாளை நினைவுகூர வேண்டும். ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் முதல் மாதத்தின் இந்த நாளை வழிபாட்டிற்குரிய விசேஷ தினமாகக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
