அப்பொழுது கிதியோன், தன் வேலையாட்களில் பத்துப்பேரைச் சேர்த்து, கர்த்தர் தனக்குச் சொன்னபடியே செய்தான்; அவன் தன் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தாருக்கும் அந்த ஊர் மனுஷருக்கும் பயப்பட்டபடியினாலே, அதைப் பகலிலே செய்யாமல், இரவிலே செய்தான்.

அப்பொழுது கிதியோன், தன்னுடைய வேலையாட்களில் பத்துப்பேரைச் சேர்த்து, கர்த்தர் தனக்குச் சொன்னபடியே செய்தான்; அவன் தன்னுடைய தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தாருக்கும் அந்த ஊர் மனிதர்களுக்கும் பயந்ததினாலே, அதைப் பகலிலே செய்யாமல், இரவிலே செய்தான்.

ஆகையால் கிதியோன் தன் வேலையாட்களில் 10 பேரை அழைத்துச்சென்று, தன்னிடம் கர்த்தர் கூறியபடியே செய்தான். அவனது குடும்பத்தாரும் நகர ஜனங்களும் அவன் செய்வதைப் பார்க்கக்கூடும் என்று அவன் பயந்தான். தன்னிடம் கர்த்தர் கூறியபடியே கிதியோன் செய்தான். ஆனால் அதைப் பகலில் செய்யாமல் இரவில் செய்தான்.
