பாபிலோன் ராஜா அக்கினியினால் சுட்டுப்போட்ட சிதேக்கியாவுக்கும் ஆகாபுக்கும் கர்த்தர் உன்னைச் சமானமாக்கக்கடவரென்று, அவர்களைக் குறித்து ஒரு சாபவார்த்தை பாபிலோனிலே சிறையிருக்கிற யூதா அனைவருக்குள்ளும் வழங்கும் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

அப்படியே மக்கள் எல்லோரும் கில்காலுக்குப் போய், அந்த இடத்திலே கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக சவுலை ராஜாவாக ஏற்படுத்தி, அங்கே கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக சமாதானபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, அங்கே சவுலும் இஸ்ரவேல் மனிதர்கள் அனைவரும் மிகவும் சந்தோஷப்பட்டார்கள்.
