அவன் எருசலேமில் அரசாளாதபடிக்கு, பார்வோன்நேகோ அவனை ஆமாத் தேசமான ரிப்லாவிலே பிடித்துக் கட்டுவித்து, தேசத்தின்மேல் நூறு தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும் ஒரு தாலந்து பொன்னையும் அபராதமாகச் சுமத்தி,

பார்வோன் நேகோ, ஆமாத் நாட்டிலுள்ள ரிப்லாவில் யோவாகாசைப் பிடித்துக்கட்டினான். இதனால் அவனால் எருசலேமை ஆள முடியவில்லை. பார்வோன் நேகோ யூதாவை வற்புறுத்தி 100 தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும் ஒரு தாலந்து பொன்னையும் அபராதமாக பெற்றான்.
