இப்படி அவர்கள் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கும்போது: நமக்கு முன்பாக வேடிக்கைகாட்டும்படிக்கு, சிம்சோனைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு வாருங்கள் என்றார்கள்; அப்பொழுது சிம்சோனைச் சிறைச்சாலையிலிருந்து கூட்டிக்கொண்டு வந்தார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக வேடிக்கை காட்டினான்; அவனைத் தூண்களுக்கு நடுவே நிறுத்தினார்கள்.

இப்படி அவர்கள் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கும்போது: நமக்கு முன்பாக வேடிக்கை காட்டுவதற்கு, சிம்சோனை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வாருங்கள் என்றார்கள்; அப்பொழுது சிம்சோனைச் சிறைச்சாலையிலிருந்து அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வந்தார்கள், அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக வேடிக்கைக் காட்டினான்; அவனைத் தூண்களுக்கு நடுவே நிறுத்தினார்கள்.

அவர்கள் கொண்டாட்டத்தில் களிகூர்ந்து நன்றாகப் பொழுதைப் போக்கினார்கள். எனவே அவர்கள், “சிம்சோனை வெளியே அழைத்து வாருங்கள். அவனை ஆட்டம் காண்பித்து கிண்டல் செய்ய நாங்கள் விரும்புகிறோம்” என்றார்கள். எனவே அவர்கள் சிம்சோனைச் சிறையிலிருந்து அழைத்து வந்து அவனைக் கேலிச் செய்தனர். பொய்த் தெய்வம் தாகோன் கோவிலின் தூண்களுக்கு நடுவே அவனை நிறுத்தினார்கள்.
