அப்போஸ்தலர் 26
24 இவ்விதமாய் அவன் தனக்காக உத்தரவு சொல்லுகையில், பெஸ்து உரத்த சத்தமாய்: பவுலே, நீ பிதற்றுகிறாய், அதிகக்கல்வி உனக்குப் பயித்தியமுண்டாக்குகிறது என்றான்.
25 அதற்கு அவன்: கனம்பொருந்திய பெஸ்துவே, நான் பயித்தியக்காரனல்ல, சத்தியமும் சொஸ்தபுத்தியுமுள்ள வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசுகிறேன்.
26 இந்தச் சங்கதிகளை ராஜா அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; ஆகையால் தைரியமாய் அவருக்கு முன்பாகப் பேசுகிறேன்; இவைகளில் ஒன்றும் அவருக்கு மறைவானதல்லவென்று எண்ணுகிறேன்; இது ஒரு மூலையிலே நடந்த காரியமல்ல.
27 அகிரிப்பா ராஜாவே, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளை விசுவாசிக்கிறீரா? விசுவாசிக்கிறீரென்று அறிவேன் என்றான்.
28 அப்பொழுது அகிரிப்பா பவுலை நோக்கி: நான் கிறிஸ்தவனாகிறதற்குக் கொஞ்சங்குறைய நீ என்னைச் சம்மதிக்கப்பண்ணுகிறாய் என்றான்.
29 அதற்குப் பவுல்: நீர் மாத்திரமல்ல, இன்று என் வசனத்தைக் கேட்கிற யாவரும், கொஞ்சங்குறையமாத்திரம் அல்ல, இந்தக் கட்டுகள் தவிர, முழுவதும் என்னைப்போலாகும்படி தேவனை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன் என்றான்.
30 இவைகளை அவன் சொன்னபோது, ராஜாவும் தேசாதிபதியும் பெர்னிக்கேயாளும் அவர்களுடனேகூட உட்கார்ந்திருந்தவர்களும் எழுந்து,
31 தனியே போய்: இந்த மனுஷன் மரணத்துக்காவது கட்டுகளுக்காவது பாத்திரமானதொன்றையும் செய்யவில்லையென்று தங்களுக்குள்ளே பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
24 And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.
25 But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.
26 For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.
28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
30 And when he had thus spoken, the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them:
31 And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
29 அதற்குப் பவுல்: நீர் மாத்திரமல்ல, இன்று என் வசனத்தைக் கேட்கிற யாவரும், கொஞ்சங்குறையமாத்திரம் அல்ல, இந்தக் கட்டுகள் தவிர, முழுவதும் என்னைப்போலாகும்படி தேவனை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன் என்றான்.
And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
30 இவைகளை அவன் சொன்னபோது, ராஜாவும் தேசாதிபதியும் பெர்னிக்கேயாளும் அவர்களுடனேகூட உட்கார்ந்திருந்தவர்களும் எழுந்து,

31 தனியே போய்: இந்த மனுஷன் மரணத்துக்காவது கட்டுகளுக்காவது பாத்திரமானதொன்றையும் செய்யவில்லையென்று தங்களுக்குள்ளே பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
