சங்கீதம் 63
1 தேவனே, நீர் என்னுடைய தேவன், அதிகாலமே உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; வறண்டதும் விடாய்த்ததும் தண்ணீரற்றதுமான நிலத்திலே என் ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாயிருக்கிறது. என் மாம்சமானது உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது.
2 இப்படியே பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில் உம்மைப்பார்க்க ஆசையாயிருந்து உமது வல்லமையையும் உமது மகிமையையும் கண்டேன்.
3 ஜீவனைப்பார்க்கிலும் உமது கிருபை நல்லது; என் உதடுகள் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்.
4 என் ஜீவனுள்ளமட்டும் நான் உம்மைத் துதித்து, உமது நாமத்தைச் சொல்லிக் கையெடுப்பேன்.
5 நிணத்தையும் கொழுப்பையும் உண்டதுபோல என் ஆத்துமா திருப்தியாகும்; என் வாய் ஆனந்தக்களிப்புள்ள உதடுகளால் உம்மைப் போற்றும்.
6 என் படுக்கையின்மேல் நான் உம்மை நினைக்கும்போது இராச்சாமங்களில் உம்மைத் தியானிக்கிறேன்.
7 நீர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிருந்ததினால், உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே களிகூருகிறேன்.
8 என் ஆத்துமா உம்மைத் தொடர்ந்து பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.
9 என் பிராணனை அழிக்கத் தேடுகிறவர்களோ, பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களில் இறங்குவார்கள்.
10 அவர்கள் பட்டயத்தால், விழுவார்கள்; நரிகளுக்கு இரையாவார்கள்.
1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
